Is this connected to Egg Maiden?

No, it's a new world and a new cast. It shares similar themes and tone.

What are the girls like?

Like Egg Maiden, there are dozens of romanceable girls. However, only 5 will be key cast members who live with you and get regular content. Other girls are side characters who get content as needed or requested by paid supporters. I'm not making the same mistake again as I did in Egg Maiden with a dozen plus main characters... that got out of hand fast.

Will there be a demo before full release?

Possibly- if so, likely a small demo posted on Discord.
